MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY:

The visual arts surround us; bringing stories to our commutes our clothes, our walls and windows. Working through visual media teaches students how to interact and contribute visually to their communities.

It is an essential key in communicating within differences of language, race or class.

LUCHADOR PROJECT

My Visual Arts classes learned about Mexican Luchador Wrestling and we got so inspired!

We made our own wrestlers, and created promotional posters and life sized masks to bring them to life!
